Chelsea sink Spurs' top-four hopes with 4-1 win
Chelsea dealt a huge blow to Tottenham's top-four hopes and boosted their own chances of European qualification with a 2-0 victory over their London rivals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Blues took the lead in the 19th minute through Hakim Ziyech, who fired home from the edge of the area after a quick break.
Chelsea doubled their advantage just before the hour mark through Romelu Lukaku, who bundled in from close range after a cross from Reece James.
Tottenham pushed for a goal in the closing stages but couldn't find a way past Chelsea's resolute defense.
The result leaves Tottenham seven points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with just two games remaining.
